About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking a Tanning Consultant to provide friendly, professional customer service and recommendations for tanning, wellness services, and related products. Consultants help clients identify options that meet their needs, build strong client relationships, and contribute to sales performance. The role includes cleaning tanning beds and maintaining salon spaces, while working with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced environment. Consultants may also work independently during shifts as business needs require. The advertised pay is $12.50–$15.50 per hour. The listing states that the average earnings of team members who meet performance and training criteria are $15.50 per hour, including performance bonuses; this amount is not guaranteed.

Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
Ability to perform cleaning functions such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.

Meet minimum sales requirements.
Multi-task, including cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients upon arrival.
Maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
