About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking a part-time Tanning Consultant to provide friendly, professional customer service in a fast-paced salon. The role involves building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending tanning services and products. Consultants also help maintain salon cleanliness and work collaboratively with teammates while following company policies and procedures. No experience is needed. The position pays $15.00 per hour, with bonuses based on performance.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Ability to provide professional customer service and engage effectively with clients.
• Ability to make product and service recommendations and meet minimum sales requirements.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up items from the floor.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, professional customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met.
• Build positive client relationships and understand and meet clients’ needs.
• Recommend products and services to clients.
• Meet minimum sales requirements.
• Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging with arriving clients.
• Maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
• Work cohesively with the team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
• Educate clients on tanning and wellness options.
