About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking an enthusiastic Wellness and Tanning Sales Consultant to help clients choose tanning and wellness options, build confidence, and enjoy a positive salon experience. The role involves providing friendly, professional service, learning about products and services, and making recommendations that meet client needs. No experience is required; training is provided. The position is based in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment and includes sales, client engagement, and salon cleaning duties. Compensation starts at $12.00 per hour, with performance bonuses and opportunities for performance-based raises. Average earnings of up to $15.00 per hour are based on employees meeting performance and training requirements and are not guaranteed. Sun Tan City is a family-owned tanning salon chain with approximately 250 salons in 20 states. The company manages over 350 locations and employs over 2,200 people. Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients' needs are met professionally.
Build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and engage with them appropriately.
Recommend products and services to clients.
Meet the minimum sales requirements.
Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave while engaging new clients as they arrive.
Maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with the team in a fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
Educate clients about tanning and wellness options.
