About The Position

Advanced Industries LLC, a turnkey manufacturing company with over 50 years of experience fabricating aluminum and steel products for the Department of Defense, is seeking a MIG Welder. The role involves welding, assembling, and fabricating metal components to specifications while meeting quality and safety standards. The schedule is first shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A 60-day waiting period applies to benefits.

Requirements

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, including THC/marijuana; a medical card will not be accepted.
Superior attendance.
Proven experience as a MIG welder and proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on metal components according to specifications and drawings.
Assemble and fabricate metal parts using power tools and hand tools.
Follow welding codes, standards, and procedures to ensure quality and safety.
Inspect welded joints for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
Participate in department 6S processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
