About The Position

Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team. This position will focus primarily on MIG, Flux Core, & TIG welding (depending on department) and requires proficiency in welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience welding/fabricating, be required to perform weld tests, read tape measures, and work at heights on platform ladders and scissor lifts.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience welding/fabricating
Proficiency in welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steel
Ability to perform weld tests
Ability to read tape measures
Ability to work at heights on platform ladders and scissor lifts
Ability to adapt to changes in daily activities
Ability to travel and work overtime/weekends, as needed
Must pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening
Must have a clean driving record
Attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Perform MIG/Flux Core/TIG welding, primarily on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel components, ensuring strong and precise welds.
Weld heavy tubing and sheet metal (14 gauge), including structural and plenum work.
Assist in the fabrication of custom components, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and design specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding requirements; accurately measure and cut materials using tape measures.
Safely operate platform ladders and scissor lifts to perform welding tasks in elevated work areas.
