Welder/Fabricator
About The Position
The Welder/Fabricator will primarily fabricate equipment for the car wash and detail shop. Work includes cutting, drilling, punching, welding, and plasma cutting using aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel. Flexible availability is needed Monday through Friday, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with potential overtime. The pay range is $24.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements
- Be mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot problems.
- Work independently and as a team player on assigned tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Be willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments, in all weather and extreme temperature conditions.
- Frequently lift heavy amounts of weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Walk, stand, and bend for long periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Have year-round schedule availability; seasonal employment opportunities for people attending school are not available effective June 1, 2024.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding.
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
