About The Position

The Shop Fabricator/Welder performs metal fabrication from start to finish, including cutting, grinding, and welding. The role involves measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping raw metal with fabrication equipment and hand tools. The listed pay is $18–$22 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Benefits become available on the first of the month after 90 days. Employment offers are contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and having a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience with metal fabrication from start to finish.
Welding experience with TIG, MIG, and/or Stick processes.
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
Ability to measure, mark, cut, and shape raw metal using saws, shears, press brakes, plasma cutters, and hand tools.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand and crouch for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
