Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding certification program preferred.
  • Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a welding certification program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to accurately fabricate parts and assemblies.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, saws, grinders, and plasma cutters.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble metal components to precise tolerances.
  • Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure quality and structural integrity.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Follow all workplace safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, material defects, or safety concerns to supervisors.
