About The Position

Multiple openings due to company expansion. This role involves MIG aluminum welding and hull/vessel construction. Responsibilities include fitting of pre-cut parts, preparation of components for welding, and sub-assembly of parts including welding. The position also requires ensuring the work area is kept clean and organized to reduce or remove hazards, and following all applicable Eaglecraft Boats and WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety regulations.

Requirements

Proficient in MIG (Push-Pull) welding, pulse experience preferred
2-3 years previous experience in welding and fabrication of aluminum products
Ability to safely operate saws, grinders, drills, and other power tools
High attention to detail is required in order to achieve quality standards
Understanding and ability to maintain a safe work environment
Ability to work independently or with others to achieve a common goal
Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter – follow direction with minimal supervision
Willing and open to learn each day
Show pride in work on a daily basis
Effective communication skills
Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
18+ years of age and legally authorized to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

Ability to read blue prints/ drawings and understand work order specifications preferred but not required
