This role involves performing wire welding functions, understanding and applying basic principles of TIG welding, and performing secondary processing operations. The Welder 3 will also be responsible for setting up jigs and fixtures, performing non-structural tack welds, and maintaining welding equipment. The position requires working in compliance with NADCAP requirements, passing workmanship reviews, and potentially performing welding functions outside of the home department. Additionally, the role involves assisting in new process development, troubleshooting products, producing parts according to certification and quality guidelines, and training lower-level employees. Effective communication with team members and reporting problems to the appropriate resource are also key responsibilities.
