About The Position

Viant is hiring a Weld Operator to operate manual laser, automatic laser, and TIG welding equipment in its medical-device manufacturing environment. The role also manages the Kanban system and 5S initiatives. The work environment is described as clean, quiet, and comfortable, with climate control during summer months. Workers may be exposed to arc flash and limited noise. The position requires pre-employment vision testing, repeated every two years.

Requirements

• Three years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in welding techniques, especially TIG welding.
• Vision acuity of 20/30 or better in either eye and ability to read the Jaeger No. 2 Eye Chart.
• Ability to meet the stated light-work physical demands: exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects.
• Pass pre-employment vision testing, which is administered every two years.
