About The Position
The Welcome Desk Specialist provides excellent, friendly, and welcoming member service while displaying a positive, professional attitude. The role is responsible for greeting all incoming members, visitors, and guests. This is a part-time opener position at the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA in Avon, Indiana, scheduled Monday through Friday from 4:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be supervised by staff who are at least 18 years of age; minors are not to be in the building alone.
- Obtain and maintain current certifications in First Aid and Oxygen Administration.
- Opening/closing staff must obtain and maintain current CPR/AED certification.
- Complete mandatory YMCA New Employee Orientation, Safety and Risk Management, Praesidium: Duty to Report, and Praesidium: Keeping Your YMCA Safe trainings within 60–90 days of employment.
- Able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
