About The Position

The Housekeeper performs commercial cleaning at the FedEx location in Auburn, Pennsylvania, using ServiceMaster TBS Division’s cleaning task schedules, products, tools, and procedures. Duties include routine cleaning and weekly detailed cleaning. On-the-job training is provided to candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with an hourly pay rate of $17.00.

Requirements

Must arrive at the work location at the scheduled time and work within allotted hours.
Must complete client special requests and record them in the company log.
Must comply with company policies and procedures.
Must show respect and understanding for coworkers and customers and contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
Must wear the proper uniform at all times.
Must be able to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to stand, walk, push, stoop, kneel, and crouch constantly.

Responsibilities

Empty trash.
Dust furniture, including desks, chairs, and tables.
Dust exposed surfaces, including window sills, ledges, and moldings.
Clean glass and mirrors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
Vacuum and mop floors.
Perform weekly detailed cleaning.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
Complete special requests from the client and record them in the company log.
Arrive at the work location at the scheduled time and work within the allotted hours.
Follow company policies and procedures, wear the proper uniform, and contribute to a positive work climate.
