About The Position
The Weigher helps maintain a smooth and efficient distribution process by checking finished-product information and confirming that received products match their paperwork. The role verifies batch numbers, Julian dates, and quantities against the yellow order sheet before entering information into the Bizerba system. Before packing begins, the employee prints a sample label to confirm the entered information is correct. The Weigher is responsible for order accuracy and meeting quality standards. The position involves weighing, counting, packing, wrapping, and labeling products for shipping; inspecting products and verifying quantities and quality; using packaging materials correctly; maintaining a clean work area; and following company procedures for safety, food hygiene, food safety, allergen control, traceability, sanitation, and quality. The work takes place in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse or production environment, often cold or refrigerated, and may involve wet or slippery areas, machinery, and extended periods of standing and repetitive tasks. Schedules may be flexible and include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is a plus.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to lift 5–50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work in cold or refrigerated conditions and around warehouse equipment while following safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

- Report discrepancies, damages, or inventory issues to supervisors.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments and perform other duties as needed.
- Follow company procedures for food safety, allergen control, and traceability.
