About The Position

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, Nebraska, is seeking an Operator 1 Orderfill Weigher for its Film and Herm Seal areas. The position is responsible for weighing the required quantity of parts from bin stock to fill production tickets, documenting and entering required information, and returning stock boxes to their designated shelf locations. The role works in a busy production environment with noise, varying lighting levels, and possible exposure to dust. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under applicable federal regulations because the position requires access to export-controlled information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to interpret production specifications and information on production tickets accurately.
• Ability to learn and use a scale to weigh-count orders.
• Ability to learn the process for entering data into the Prod Info system.
• Ability to understand verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to lift 20 to 25 pounds.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. §120.15; examples include a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

• Weigh the required quantity of parts from bin stock to fill production tickets for the Film and Herm Seal areas.
• Sign off on production tickets with the required information.
• Enter required information into the Prod Info system.
• Return bin stock boxes to their proper locations on the bin stock shelves.
