Orderfill Weigher
About The Position
Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, Nebraska, is seeking an Operator 1 Orderfill Weigher. The position weighs the required amount of parts from Bin Stock to fill production tickets for the Film and Herm Seal areas. The employee signs off production tickets with the required information, enters information into the Prod Info system, and returns Bin Stock boxes to their proper locations on the shelves. The schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; overtime is available as needed. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under applicable federal regulations because the role requires access to export-controlled information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to interpret production specifications and information on production tickets accurately.
- Ability to learn and use a scale to weigh-count orders.
- Ability to learn the process for entering data into the Prod Info system.
- Ability to understand verbal and/or written instructions.
- Ability to lift 20 to 25 pounds.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable federal law.
