Hospice Weeknight On-Call LPN - Full Time

About The Position
Luminos Hospice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Weeknight On-Call LPN to provide quality evening care to patients in their residences. The role administers nursing care to patients of all ages and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, patients, families, and referring agencies. The nurse assumes responsibility for and participates in coordinating care. The stated schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Requirements
- Current state LPN license.
- Current driver’s license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Two years of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Nursing skills consistent with generally accepted standards of practice.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational habits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
Nice To Haves
- One year of full-time hospice experience is preferred.
