About The Position
We are looking for a qualified Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN) to join our team at Coastal Health & Rehabilitation Center. This is a part-time position. We seek a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for leadership and high-quality resident care who thrives in a dynamic environment where they can mentor staff, ensure compliance, and make a lasting impact on patient outcomes. We need strong nurse leaders to uphold our high standards.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (preferred in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting).
- At least 1 year of experience in nursing administration.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing superior resident care.
- Ability to work weekends with flexibility and adaptability.
- Completion of Preceptor Training (or willingness to complete upon hire).
Responsibilities
- Lead & Supervise Nursing Staff: Manage daily staffing needs, ensuring adequate coverage and quality resident care.
- Staff Development & Training: Assist in ongoing education, ensuring all staff are equipped to provide exceptional care.
- Direct Resident Care: Provide hands-on nursing care, ensuring residents' medical needs are met in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Resident Assessments: Conduct and document comprehensive evaluations upon admission and throughout their stay.
- Treatment Planning & Compliance: Assist in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans while ensuring adherence to resident rights and facility policies.
- Recruit & Retain Nursing Talent: Play a key role in the hiring and retention of skilled nursing professionals.
- Conflict Resolution & Advocacy: Address concerns from residents and families, ensuring grievances are handled professionally and effectively.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement new ideas, enhance processes, and support a positive, results-driven management team.
