Weekend Sign Installer - Windermere, FL
About The Position
Directed is seeking an independent contractor to install and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Palms at Windermere community in Windermere, Florida. Install signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM, and pick up the same signs between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. Work may be performed at any time within those windows, provided all signs are placed and removed by the stated deadlines. The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic mounted on wooden stakes. Directed provides the signs, stakes, and replacement inventory as needed. Contractors use Directed’s mobile application to report sign installation and pickup at specific locations, store signs and extra stakes safely during the week, submit a weekly invoice, and order replacement inventory through the company website. Contractors choose their own driving order and provide their own vehicle and mobile device. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not employment with Directed. Contractors are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. There are no benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees. Contractors may accept or decline routes but must complete routes they commit to. The work is recurring each weekend and may suit people seeking flexible supplemental income.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
- At least 18 years old.
- Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30 or more signs.
- Android or iPhone smartphone, roughly four years old or newer, capable of running the mobile application.
- Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors.
- Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only.
- Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend.
Responsibilities
- Install signs every weekend between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM.

- Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week.

Benefits
- $82.50 starting compensation per weekend.
- Pay issued by direct deposit every two weeks.
- $20.00 signing bonus.
- $100.00 bonus after four weeks of completed work.
