About The Position

Directed is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Lehigh Acres, Florida area. Contractors install the signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM, then pick up those same signs between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. Work can be performed at any time within those windows, provided all signs are placed and removed by the specified deadlines. The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic mounted on wooden stakes. Artisan Direct provides the signs and stakes, along with replacement inventory as needed. Contractors use Directed’s mobile application to report sign installations and pickups, store signs and extra stakes safely during the week, submit a weekly invoice, and order replacement inventory through the company website after completing pickup. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are not Directed employees and are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. They provide their own vehicle and mobile device, determine their driving order, and complete committed routes within the required windows. Routes may be accepted or declined, but any accepted route must be completed. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered. The work is recurring each weekend and is described as flexible supplemental income. Starting compensation is $82.50 per weekend, paid by direct deposit every two weeks. The posting also offers a $20 signing bonus and a $100 bonus after four weeks of completed work. The stated starting pay is for the current work available in this location; additional work may be offered as it becomes available.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
Have a reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30 or more signs.
Have an Android or iPhone smartphone, roughly four years old or newer, capable of running the mobile application.
Be able to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Be able to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only.
Be dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend.

Responsibilities

Install signs every weekend between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM.
Pick up the same signs between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM.
Use Directed’s mobile application to report sign installations and pickups at specified locations.
Safely store signs and extra stakes during the week.
Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory through the company website after completing pickup.
Complete any route accepted within the specified placement and pickup windows.
