About The Position

The Weekend Security Officer is a mobile patrol position responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer patrols three designated lots, monitors CCTV cameras, and maintains a visible security presence. Officers may work from a guard house during portions of the shift. The role also involves observing and reporting activities and incidents, protecting client property and personnel, enforcing site regulations and directives, and providing customer service and information to employees and customers.

The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, totaling 24 hours per week. The position pays $19.02 per hour. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet applicable security-officer licensing requirements. Steel-toed shoes are required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security experience is required for the mobile patrol position.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Wear steel-toed shoes.
• Be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; climb stairs; and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
