About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at client sites by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents to protect client property and personnel, preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives, and frequently provides customer service and information to employees and customers. This weekend position includes second-shift hours. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit, and prior security or customer service experience is a plus.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods; ability to climb stairs and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.
