About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives for the client site related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. This is a full-time, 32-hour-per-week position working the second shift Friday through Monday. Security experience is preferred, though no experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Be able to perform the role's physical activities, including frequent sitting, standing, and walking, sometimes for long periods; climbing stairs; and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Security experience is preferred.
Healthcare experience is welcomed.
Retail, food service, or hospitality experience is considered a good fit.
