About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling multiple locations. This weekend mobile patrol position covers three designated lots, with officers also monitoring CCTV cameras and maintaining a visible security presence. Officers may work from a guard house for portions of a shift. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents, preserving order, enforcing site regulations and directives, and providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. Applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and meet applicable licensing requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security experience is listed for this position.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Wear steel-toed shoes.
• Able to perform regular patrol activity and the physical demands of the role, including frequent sitting, standing, and walking; periods of prolonged activity; climbing stairs; and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
