About The Position

The Weekend RN Supervisor is responsible for maintaining quality resident care and overseeing nursing operations during weekend shifts. The role calls for reliability, consistent attendance, professionalism, multitasking, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Assigned shifts require a minimum of eight consecutive hours of work per day.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Texas.
Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Ability to remain composed during emergencies and manage workflow effectively.
Passion for quality resident care and collaborative team support.
Dependability, professionalism, and consistent attendance.
Ability to work a minimum of eight consecutive hours per assigned shift.

Responsibilities

Assign and delegate nursing staff duties appropriately based on resident census and staff availability.
Monitor medication administration and coordinate medication reorders.
Ensure care plans are followed according to company policy and physician orders.
Perform and supervise treatments, and serve as staff nurse as needed.
Promptly transcribe physician orders, complete assessments, and maintain accurate records.
Participate in shift reports and ensure staff are informed of resident care needs.
Enforce infection control procedures and safe work practices.
Coordinate coverage for staffing shortages.
Investigate variances, contact families, and complete incident reports.
Monitor lab orders and results and ensure physician follow-up.
