About The Position

Jill’s House is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and engaging Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight for our Weekend Program with excellence, joy, and Christ-centered care. The ideal candidate for this role is a servant-leader who can build trust, drive culture, and inspire a team to serve with care and excellence. Additionally, the ideal candidate for this role will find enjoyment in motivating, coaching, and influencing others toward strong team performance, accountability, and consistent program execution. In this role, you'll help ensure that our Weekend Program creates a safe, joyful, and well-organized environment for our clients that is aligned with our mission.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of behavior support strategies and person-centered care
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple direct reports
  • Strong coaching, communication, and staff development skills
  • The ability to encourage and model Christ-centered engagement
  • The ability to remain calm, focused, and directive in emergency or escalated situations
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and time management skills
  • Flexibility to adjust work availability as program needs shift, including some evenings and weekends
  • A willingness to partner across teams and support the needs of the ministry
  • A commitment to affirming the McLean Bible Church Vision/Values and Standards of Christian Conduct
  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of demonstrated professional excellence, with at least one year working with children or adults with disabilities; or High school diploma with two years of demonstrated professional excellence and at least three years working with children or adults with disabilities in a residential setting
  • At least one year of experience working with children or adults with varying disabilities is required.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the day-to-day execution of the Tysons Weekend Program
  • Supervising, coaching, and developing Direct Support Professionals
  • Supporting staff during client care routines, behavior support, documentation, and urgent program needs
  • Helping ensure excellent, person-centered care for the individuals we serve
  • Communicating with parents/guardians, external partners, and internal teams
  • Partnering with the AVP of Programs, Respite Care Team, Nursing Team, Human Resources, and other colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Supporting documentation, compliance, training, staff development, and continuous program improvement
  • Serving as a culture leader for the direct care team by modeling Jill’s House’s mission, values, and guiding principles
