About The Position

Patriot At Home is hiring a full-time Weekend On-Call Homecare Registered Nurse for the Cincinnati territory. The nurse answers calls during non-business hours, from Friday at 4:30 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m., triages patient calls, and completes visits as needed. The role also includes preparing and presenting patient records to the Clinical Record Review Committee as indicated and submitting clinical and progress notes and other clinical record forms at least weekly, as indicated. The position offers a competitive salary, with the opportunity to earn additional money by picking up visits at the per diem rate. Company travel is reimbursed by mileage. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Hold a Registered Nurse license in the state.
Current CPR certification.
Valid driver's license.
Pass a criminal background check.
Ability to access patients' homes, which may not be wheelchair accessible.
Sufficient hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity for patient assessments and care.
Ability to perform standard nursing activities involving walking, sitting, stooping, standing, and varying lifting, moving, or turning of patients.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in a community or home health agency or hospital is preferred.
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.

Responsibilities

Answer calls during non-business hours, Friday 4:30 p.m. to Monday 8:00 a.m.
