About The Position

FirstLight Home Care of Greater Lansing is seeking compassionate, dependable weekend caregivers to provide non-medical support to older adults in their homes, helping them remain safe and comfortable. The role serves Lansing and surrounding communities, with Friday–Monday scheduling opportunities based on available client assignments and needs. Caregivers may work up to 40 hours across four days, depending on client needs and availability. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, plus applicable weekend premium. Health, dental, and vision benefits are available to eligible employees. Paid caregiver training, including specialized care skills, career-growth opportunities, a local support team, and meaningful one-on-one care are also part of the opportunity. The position requires reliable transportation, completion of training and required screening, and dependable availability for assigned weekend shifts. Prior caregiving experience is helpful, but applicants eager to learn are welcome.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
