About The Position
Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton, Massachusetts is seeking Baylor Registered Nurses to work every weekend from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position is paid for 40 hours, with weekly pay ranging from $42 to $47 per hour, including shift differentials. The RN provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises nursing assistants’ day-to-day activities to maintain a high standard of quality care. New graduates are welcome.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing or college.
- CPR certification.
- Current and active RN license in the state, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Staff must be up to date with COVID and flu vaccinations or acknowledge a declination of the vaccination(s).
Responsibilities
- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
- Maintain current care plans for residents under the RN’s care.
- Provide or assist with nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders.
- Transcribe physician orders promptly and accurately.
- Review patient records daily for accuracy and completeness.
- Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes.
- Visit each resident daily to evaluate their needs.
- Maintain accurate awareness of residents on the alert list.
- Document and report unusual or significant findings and contact the physician when necessary.
- Administer medication according to procedure.
- Maintain accurate and safe control of all drugs for which the RN is responsible.
- Initiate emergency procedures as necessary.
- Follow facility privacy practices and protect residents’ individual health information.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Nursing and other managerial team members.
- Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
