About The Position

Preferred Professional Services (PPS), an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is hiring Registered Nurses for agency Baylor shifts in long-term care and rehabilitation facilities. Available shifts include 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m. The RN supports residents’ health, comfort, and well-being by assessing conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. The role also includes providing nursing interventions and guiding LPNs and CNAs in delivering quality care.

Requirements

• Valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Interest in the nursing needs of aged and chronically ill patients, with the ability to work with both.
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery.
• Oversee and guide Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care.
