About The Position

Capital City Club, founded in 1883, is one of the oldest private clubs in the South, located in Atlanta's historic Brookhaven neighborhood. It features an 18-hole golf course, unique dining venues, and world-class swim, tennis, and fitness facilities. The club prides itself on exceeding expectations. They are currently seeking pm weekend bartenders for their banquet department, aiming to provide members and guests with exceptional food, drink, and service for a world-class experience. Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently and cohesively as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum two years of bartending experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • A high-energy and fun-loving personality with a positive attitude!

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in private clubs a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Stocks bar daily and maintains organization/cleanliness.
  • Prepares garnishes, fruit mixes, and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening bar.
  • Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and efficiency, upholding Club standards and adhering to recipes.
  • Works in fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Attends all staff meetings, including pre-shift sessions, and training as required.
  • Continually practices beverage and revenue control procedures.
  • Completes other appropriate work assignments as requested by supervisor.
  • Works closely with multiple teams and teammates to fulfill and exceed member expectations.
  • Provides excellent food and beverage service to members and guests, always ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintains and displays complete and comprehensive knowledge of menus, including daily features and specials.
  • Follows daily opening/closing procedures, complete daily checklists, and execute day-to-day operations relatively independently.
  • Becomes familiar with members' names and greets them accordingly, providing a warm welcome that will make them feel right at home.
  • Assists fellow team members to provide unique, personalized service that cannot be found anywhere else!
