Full-Time Waxing Specialist/Cerologist - Thursday to Monday

About The Position

Waxing the City is seeking a licensed beauty professional who is passionate about waxing and building strong client relationships through excellent service and expert skills. The Waxing Specialist/Cerologist delivers efficient, effective, high-quality waxing services according to established service standards, while maintaining a clean and professional environment and following safety and sanitation standards. The role includes educating clients about services, retail products, and the membership program, and helping build and retain clientele through social platforms, community engagement, and marketing efforts. Technicians complete a week-long, hands-on training course at Waxing University and become certified Cerologists. The position supports the studio’s culture, client-service standards, and teamwork; other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Current state licensure as an esthetician or cosmetologist.
Passion for waxing and the beauty industry.
Time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality waxing services in accordance with established service protocols and standards.
Implement customer-service standards for internal and external clients, exceeding expectations from initial inquiry through ongoing client relationship management.
Maintain a clean, professional environment and follow safety and sanitation standards.
Inform and educate clients about service offerings, retail products, and the membership program.
Build and retain clients through social platforms, community engagement, and other management-directed marketing efforts.
Support and protect the studio’s culture and contribute to teamwork.
Perform other duties as assigned.
