About The Position

Operates a waterjet cutting machine to perform cutting jobs accurately and efficiently. This involves understanding part drawings or job instructions, cutting parts, and performing inspections. The role requires independent execution of all setups, a complete understanding of machine control, and the ability to perform basic programming. The position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Makes parts that conform to the drawing specifications.
• Meets or exceeds job time standards.
• Independently performs all setups and executes them efficiently.
• Troubleshoots problems with the machine control and part programs.
• Uses a forklift to load and unload material at the machine.
• Performs secondary operations such as drilling, tapping, and deburring.
• Completely and accurately fills out job paperwork and inspection reports.
• Keeps the work area clean and organized.
• Maintains a positive image for the company.
• Performs miscellaneous shop duties as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
