About The Position

As a Water/Wastewater Process Design Engineer, you will apply advanced engineering principles and process design expertise to plan, analyze, and design municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will lead process engineering tasks throughout project development, including treatment process evaluation, hydraulic and process modeling, equipment sizing and selection, and preparation of technical reports, plans, specifications, and construction documents. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, regulators, and stakeholders to develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that address complex treatment challenges while meeting regulatory requirements and project objectives. The role includes providing technical leadership, supporting quality delivery of critical infrastructure projects, mentoring junior staff, and continuing to develop expertise in water treatment, wastewater treatment, and emerging process technologies. The hybrid role operates between office and field environments. It routinely involves standard office equipment and may occasionally involve exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements. Duties may include occasional operation of a company vehicle and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 35 pounds. Successful completion of applicable pre-employment substance screening and background checks is required.
