Ardurra seeks a Water/Wastewater Assistant Project Manager to join their team in Tampa, FL. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program preferred
  • 4-6 years’ relevant experience in engineering and/or field construction
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and manage multidiscipline projects consisting of water/wastewater treatment and collection/distribution systems for municipal and institutional clients in the Tampa, Florida region.
  • Perform or manage the technical design and/or hydraulic modeling requirements on water/wastewater projects.
  • Manage a team of engineers, EITs, designers, and sub-consultants to successfully execute projects.
  • Develop and assist with the preparation of statements of qualifications and proposals.
  • Interact with and be responsive to client’s needs.
  • Negotiate contracts.
  • Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water/wastewater storage and conveyance systems or the ability to independently manage a team of professionals to do so.
  • Perform or manage engineering/process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects.
  • Provide responses to requests for qualifications and assist with teaming opportunities.
  • Guide, direct, and coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants required for multi-discipline projects.
  • Create, calibrate, modify, and perform hydraulic modeling for water and wastewater systems, and interpret and communicate the results to others.
