About The Position

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is hiring a Water Spider to keep production workflow uninterrupted by ensuring materials are supplied where and when needed, supporting productivity and operating efficiency. The Cedar Rapids facility produces frozen soups and macaroni and cheese and operates three shifts. The facility is non-union and has approximately 200 hourly staff members, including temporary and full-time associates. The position is scheduled for the third shift, 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, at the Kraft Heinz facility at 4601 C Street SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role is responsible for following food safety policies, safety procedures, and Q-RMP standards, and for helping ensure quality products are packaged.

Responsibilities

Stage materials for cells and tote dumpers, one pallet at a time.
Return raw ingredients at the end of runs.
Raise and stack wood and plastic pallets.
Move empty totes and ingredient containers to the staging area beside the trash and cardboard dumpsters.
Weigh partials and return them via RTCIM.
Replenish tools on carts and sweep carts and PPE for cells and tote dumpers.
Follow all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures.
Implement Q-RMP standards as defined by the accountability list document.
Perform job responsibilities safely and help ensure quality products are packaged.
