Water Damage Restoration Technician
About The Position
Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Cincinnati & Dayton is seeking dependable, hardworking technicians to respond to water, fire, storm, and mold losses. The role involves restoring homes and businesses while providing professional, compassionate service to customers and insurance partners. The company offers training, leadership development, and opportunities for advancement into roles such as Lead Technician, Crew Chief, Project Manager, Estimator, or Operations Leader. The position is part-time, with work arranged as the employee's schedule allows, subject to business needs and participation in a rotating on-call schedule.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. regularly.
- Comfortable with physically demanding work.
- Willingness to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude, ownership and pride in work, ability to stay calm under pressure, and willingness to work safely, efficiently, and continue learning.
Nice To Haves
- Restoration or construction experience.
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT).
- Experience with drying equipment and moisture mapping.
- OSHA certification.
- Leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform water mitigation, fire cleanup, mold remediation, board-ups, and tarping.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment.
- Protect properties from further damage.
- Document work using company technology.
- Communicate professionally with customers, insurance partners, and teammates.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and equipment.
- Follow IICRC standards, company procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule.
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive, high-performing culture.
