Water Damage Restoration Technician
About The Position
Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Cincinnati & Dayton is seeking dependable, hardworking technicians to respond to water, fire, storm, and mold losses and help restore property and peace of mind. The role involves hands-on restoration work, customer service, documentation, equipment care, and participation in a rotating on-call schedule. The position is advertised as part-time, with flexible scheduling when business needs allow. The company provides training, leadership development, and opportunities for advancement into roles such as Lead Technician, Crew Chief, Project Manager, Estimator, or Operations Leader. Compensation is $21.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience, with performance bonuses. Health, dental, and vision insurance are available to full-time employees only.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. regularly.
- Comfortable with physically demanding work.
- Willingness to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude, ownership, and pride in work.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work safely and efficiently.
- Willingness to continuously learn and improve.
Nice To Haves
- Restoration or construction experience.
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT).
- Experience with drying equipment and moisture mapping.
- OSHA certification.
- Leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform water mitigation, fire cleanup, mold remediation, board-ups, and tarping.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment.
- Protect properties from further damage.
- Document work using company technology.
- Communicate professionally with customers, insurance partners, and teammates.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and equipment.
- Follow IICRC standards, company procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule.
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive, high-performing culture.
