About The Position

Paul Davis Restoration of Dayton is hiring a dependable, hardworking Water Damage Restoration Technician to help restore homes, businesses, and peace of mind after property disasters. The technician responds to water, fire, storm, and mold losses and delivers professional service to customers, insurance partners, and teammates. The role includes physically demanding work and participation in a rotating on-call schedule. The company offers training, leadership opportunities, and advancement into roles such as Lead Technician, Crew Chief, Project Manager, Estimator, or Operations Leader.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Ability to lift 75 lbs. regularly.
Comfort with physically demanding work.
Willingness to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Positive attitude, ownership, and pride in work.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and work safely and efficiently.
Willingness to continuously learn and improve.

Nice To Haves

Restoration or construction experience.
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT).
Experience with drying equipment and moisture mapping.
OSHA certification.
Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Perform water mitigation, fire cleanup, mold remediation, board-ups, and tarping.
Set up and monitor drying equipment.
Protect properties from further damage.
Document work using company technology.
Communicate professionally with customers, insurance partners, and teammates.
Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and equipment.
Follow IICRC standards, company procedures, and safety guidelines.
Participate in the rotating on-call schedule.
Support teammates and contribute to a positive, high-performing culture.
