About The Position

Acme Tools is hiring a Warranty/Parts Associate for its new store in Eagan, Minnesota. The role supports internal and external customers with parts needs, including identifying and sourcing parts, maintaining inventory, handling warranty claims, and coordinating service work. The position is full-time, with 40 hours per week during the store’s hours of operation, and pays $20–$22 per hour. The work suits someone mechanically inclined who is comfortable staying active and may get their hands dirty.

Requirements

Proven customer service skills.
Computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
Knowledge of tools and equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for most of the shift.
Ability to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical aptitude.
Previous service writing experience.

Responsibilities

Help internal and external customers find the correct parts efficiently.
Maintain stocking levels and research parts pricing and labor estimates.
Identify new parts and part categories to add to improve customer satisfaction.
Work with clients and vendors to manage and follow up on warranty claims.
Support a positive customer experience and follow up with customers and technicians to help ensure timely repairs.
Assist with cycle counts and order, receive, price, and stock parts in the service area.
Create service orders and distribute work orders to Service Technicians.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment, follow and seek to improve safety standards, and report suspicious activity.
Complete related tasks as assigned.
