About The Position

Maronda Homes is seeking a Service/Warranty Manager with residential construction experience. The role is responsible for the on-site review and repair of warranted residential construction, including working with homeowners, supervising repair work, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining service records, and performing quality-control inspections before home closings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with residential construction techniques and standards.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and punch-list items.
• Must be able to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to reach, crawl, and perform other physical activities related to warranty and repair work.
• Must be organized and complete tasks on a timely basis.
• Strong people skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to follow strict policies and apply them uniformly.
• Reliable transportation and ability to arrive at appointments on time.
• Must be available for limited evening and weekend work.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of residential home-building experience in a production or warranty-service role.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to determine needed repairs and verify warranty claims.
• Supervise subcontractors during scheduled appointments and ensure work is completed properly.
• Protect areas of the home and surrounding areas while work is being performed.
• Ensure work areas are cleaned before leaving the home.
• Participate in customer-service follow-up with homeowners.
• Work with Production Management and other departments to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
• Complete inspection paperwork, including scheduling and payment approvals.
• Maintain the service database and ensure accurate records of service requests.
• Perform quality-control inspections before closing to ensure completed homes meet quality expectations.
