Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred minimum two years with direct Quality responsibility.
  • Working knowledge of TQM, SPC, Quality Systems, and other quality techniques.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Above average math skills.
  • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Field escalated customer complaints and work with various departments to resolve the issues through disciplined problem-solving activities.
  • Investigate thoroughly to make critical decisions regarding escalated warranty issues.
  • Work closely with all departments as required to investigate and resolve issues that are causing warranty claims, including design, process, tooling, costs, and other areas of product quality.
  • Communicate directly with dealers and end users to explain the outcome of the warranty decision.
  • Coordinate the gathering and processing of information between the appropriate departments leading to a final corrective action. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Field customer complaints and work with various departments to resolve the issues through disciplined problem-solving activities.
  • Assist in resolving quality issues and support the warranty process.
  • Responsible for the warranty/returns system and ensures that the process is carried out according to the guidelines set by upper management.
  • Initiate and complete specific projects as requested and/or approved. Perform basic statistical analyses for projects/reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.
