•$125,000 - $135,000•Onsite

About The Position

Impact Housing is hiring a Warranty and Quality Manager to lead its field response team, including the On-Site Coordinator and a permanent field crew. The manager is accountable for warranty requests from Asset Management on completed projects during the one-year warranty period, construction defects and subcontractor workmanship issues at iConstruct sites, and defects or other issues at the Winchester module storage yard. The role is based in San Diego, with regular travel to the Winchester yard and project sites as needed. The manager is the team's single point of contact for Asset Management, iConstruct, and iManufacture requests. They receive, assess, prioritize, schedule, and track work through closeout, while directing the field team and maintaining clear communication with requesting groups and company leadership. The role owns the team's administrative systems, work orders, documentation, cost tracking, reporting, and standard operating procedures. It also coordinates vendors, equipment manufacturers, and licensed trades when work is outside the crew's scope. The position operates at the corporate level and represents the company's overall interests. The manager is expected to resolve issues quickly and cost-effectively, maintain defensible records of findings, costs, and corrective actions, identify root causes, and issue and track Problem Resolution Requests (PRRs) to prevent recurrence. The role supports quality and process improvements across manufacturing, construction, and design, including defining the inspection and verification process for units released from construction to property management.
