About The Position

Melink Solar is seeking a Commissioning and Warranty Specialist to support commercial and utility-scale solar EPC projects. Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Quality, this role bridges Construction and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) by coordinating commissioning, project turnover, remote monitoring, and post-construction warranty support for solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. The specialist works cross-functionally with engineering and quality staff, project managers, customers, utilities, vendors, and subcontractors. The role leads project turnover and commissioning coordination, monitors system performance during the workmanship warranty period, administers workmanship warranty obligations, and coordinates prompt investigation and resolution of post-construction issues. It also supports operational readiness, customer communication, performance reporting, and long-term customer relationships. Customer Production Reports are provided to current and future C&I customers at 3-, 6-, and 12-month checkpoints. This is a field-based role requiring 50–75% travel to project sites across the Midwest and occasionally elsewhere in the United States. A company vehicle is provided. The position involves outdoor work in adverse and extreme weather and traversal of active construction sites. Physical demands include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, working at heights, and prolonged walking, standing, bending, and reaching. Melink Solar describes career development opportunities, promotion from within, business growth, hands-on renewable energy experience, work alongside industry experts, and the opportunity to contribute to sustainability initiatives.
