Requirements

  • 2+ years of warranty administration in a Ford dealership environment (non-negotiable)
  • Deep familiarity with Ford warranty coverage, deductibles, and claim submission procedures
  • Proficiency with DMS (dealer track preferred but willing to train the right individuals)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Meticulous attention to detail with ability to catch errors before they become problems
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with service, parts, and sales teams
  • Professional demeanor when handling sensitive customer and Ford Motor Company communications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Ford Factory Service Training or Ford certification programs
  • Familiarity with Ford Motorcraft parts ordering and warranty parts allocation
  • Knowledge of Ford recall procedures and extended service plan administration
  • Prior experience training service advisors on warranty coverage basics

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process warranty claims from technicians and service advisors with meticulous attention to detail
  • Verify claim documentation, OEM coverage requirements, and deductible information before submission
  • Communicate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal departments to resolve claim discrepancies or denials
  • Track claim status, manage follow-ups, and maintain organized records for all warranty submissions
  • Reconcile warranty payments and audit claim accuracy to ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Respond to customer and advisor inquiries about warranty coverage, timelines, and claim outcomes
  • Prepare monthly warranty reporting and documentation for management review
