About The Position

The Warehouser/Material Handler moves products such as Lay’s, Doritos, and Cheetos through the warehouse, handling them accurately and carefully so stores receive the correct products. The role involves loading and unloading pallets and individual cases, picking cases to fulfill orders, loading trailers, and completing housekeeping and sanitation tasks. The position is hands-on and fast-paced, with employees on the move for most of the day and regularly lifting, bending, and moving products. PepsiCo provides on-the-job training through hands-on and classroom instruction. Employees receive training to operate a forklift and must obtain certification before operating it. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
Be able to lift 15 to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to stand and walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access plant areas.
Be willing and able to work in an environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous or loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
Pick the appropriate cases according to orders using required technology.
Safely operate a forklift after completing company-provided training and obtaining certification.
Load trailers using carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
Maintain general housekeeping and complete specific sanitation tasks as required.
