About The Position

The Service Operations Warehouser loads, moves, and prepares PepsiCo food products for delivery. The role involves loading and unloading pallets and individual cases, selecting cases for orders using required technology, and loading trailers with carts or by stacking cases on the trailer floor. The employee also maintains general housekeeping and completes assigned sanitation tasks. The position includes hands-on and classroom on-the-job training. It is a fast-paced, high-energy role spent on the move for most of the day, involving lifting, bending, and moving product. The schedule varies according to business needs; Sundays and Fridays are required. The stated start time is 8 a.m., while the end time varies. Employees must be prepared to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts, and to work around extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous or loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to lift 15 to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to stand and walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant.
Be willing and able to work in an environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous or loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
Be available to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts; Sundays and Fridays are required.

Responsibilities

Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
Pick appropriate cases according to orders using required technology.
Safely operate a forklift after completing training and obtaining certification.
Load trailers using carts or by stacking cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
Maintain general housekeeping and perform specific sanitation tasks as required.
