About The Position

Bergey’s Inc. is hiring a part-time Warehouse associate at Bergey's Truck Center in Trenton, New Jersey. The role assists with a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping the warehouse stocked. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Saturdays as needed. Pay is $16.00 per hour, based on experience. Requirements

No prior experience or training is required; the posting also describes acceptable qualifications as less than a high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. It further lists a high school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consecutively throughout the day.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Pull and stage parts for drivers.
Unload products from shipping containers.
Put stock away in the correct locations and ensure it is labeled correctly.
Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
Maintain inventory levels by providing accurate cycle counts.
Ensure the correct part is provided to the correct customer.
Communicate with management and team members.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and the shipping supply area, and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Make hot-shot deliveries and perform cycle counting as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
