About The Position

Bergey's Inc. is hiring a part-time Warehouse team member at Bergey's Truck Center in Trenton, New Jersey. The role assists with warehouse operations such as shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping the warehouse stocked. The position pays $18.00 per hour, based on experience, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
• The posting lists education and experience alternatives: no prior experience or training, less than a high school education, or up to one month of related experience or training; alternatively, a high school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consecutively throughout the day.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage parts for drivers.
• Unload products from shipping containers.
• Put stock away in the correct locations and ensure it is labeled correctly.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain inventory levels through accurate cycle counts.
• Ensure the correct part is selected for each customer.
• Communicate with management and team members.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and the shipping supply area.
• Perform cycle counting and deliveries as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
