About The Position

Bergey’s Inc. is hiring a part-time Warehouse associate at Bergey’s Truck Center in Trenton, New Jersey. The role assists with a variety of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stock organized. The position pays $16.00 per hour, based on experience, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consecutively throughout the day.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license.
The posting lists education and experience alternatives ranging from no prior experience or training and less than a high school education, through a high school diploma or GED and up to three months of related experience or training, or equivalent combinations.

Responsibilities

Pull and stage parts for drivers.
Unload products from shipping containers.
Put stock away in the correct locations.
Ensure stock is labeled correctly.
Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
Maintain inventory levels by providing accurate cycle counts.
Ensure the correct part is supplied to the correct customer.
Communicate effectively with management and team members.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and the shipping supply area neat, and by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Make hot-shot deliveries and perform cycle counting as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
